Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

Welcome to BoxBaba. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of BoxBaba.com and the purchase of custom packaging products and related services from BoxBaba.

By requesting a quotation, submitting artwork, approving a proof, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy.

1. Definitions

Customer means the individual, company, organization, or authorized representative requesting or purchasing products or services from BoxBaba.

Order means a custom packaging project accepted by BoxBaba based on an approved quotation, specifications, artwork, proof, or related written instructions.

Proof means the digital or physical reference supplied for customer review before production.

Products means custom boxes, packaging, printed materials, accessories, samples, and other products supplied by BoxBaba.

2. Custom Packaging Orders

BoxBaba provides made-to-order packaging based on customer-approved requirements, which may include dimensions, structure, materials, printing, finishes, inserts or dividers, artwork, quantity, packaging application, and other project-specific requirements.

Because custom packaging is produced according to an individual project specification, customers must review all relevant information before approving production.

BoxBaba’s standard minimum order quantity generally starts from 100 units. Certain products, structures, materials, or production processes may require a different quantity, which will be confirmed in the quotation.

3. Quotations and Project Specifications

Quotations are based on the information supplied by the customer. Pricing may depend on:

  • Dimensions
  • Quantity
  • Material
  • Box or packaging structure
  • Printing method
  • Finishing options
  • Inserts
  • Sampling
  • Shipping requirements
  • Other project specifications

If the customer changes the dimensions, quantity, material, structure, artwork, finish, or another material requirement after receiving a quotation, BoxBaba may issue a revised quotation.

Order of PrecedenceFor a specific order, the following project-specific information takes precedence over general website information where a difference exists:

  1. Final written quotation or invoice
  2. Approved project specifications
  3. Approved proof
  4. Written project-specific agreement with BoxBaba
  5. General information published on BoxBaba.com

Customers should raise any inconsistency before approving production.

4. Payment and Production Authorization

Payment requirements will be stated in the quotation, invoice, or other written order documentation.

Where payment or partial payment is required before production, production will not begin until the applicable payment requirement has been satisfied. Late or incomplete payment may affect production or delivery scheduling.

5. Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers should provide artwork in the file format, size, resolution, and color mode requested for their project.

Customers are responsible for checking:

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Product information
  • Logos
  • Artwork placement
  • Barcodes
  • QR codes
  • Warnings
  • Contact details
  • Dimensions
  • Other customer-supplied content

BoxBaba is not responsible for errors contained in customer-supplied artwork that remain in the final approved proof. Low-resolution, incomplete, distorted, incorrectly sized, or otherwise unsuitable artwork may affect print quality.

6. Customer Artwork and Intellectual Property Rights

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to use all logos, trademarks, photographs, illustrations, text, graphics, designs, and other materials submitted to BoxBaba.

By supplying artwork or other content, the customer confirms that its intended use does not knowingly infringe third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

The customer grants BoxBaba permission to reproduce, adjust, process, transmit, and otherwise use submitted artwork only as reasonably necessary to prepare proofs, manufacture the approved packaging, fulfill the order, and coordinate relevant production services.

BoxBaba may refuse content that reasonably appears unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable for production.

7. Website Content and Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, the text, graphics, layouts, images, designs, and other materials published on BoxBaba.com are owned by or licensed to BoxBaba.

They may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without authorization except where permitted by applicable law.

8. Digital Proofs and Approval

Custom print projects require customer approval before production. A digital proof may be used to verify:

  • Artwork placement
  • Text
  • Layout
  • Orientation
  • General appearance
  • Dimensions
  • Dieline positioning
  • Cut and fold areas
  • Finishing placement
  • Other project specifications

Customers must review the final proof carefully before approving production. Once the customer approves the final proof, BoxBaba may proceed according to the approved artwork and specifications.

Changes requested after approval may result in additional costs or production time and may not be possible once manufacturing has started.

9. Color and Printing Variation

Digital screens and electronic proofs cannot always reproduce the exact appearance of physical printed packaging. Final appearance can be influenced by:

  • Screen calibration
  • Printing process
  • Ink
  • Material or substrate
  • Coatings
  • Lamination
  • Foil
  • Surface finish
  • Production conditions

Digital proofs are principally intended to confirm artwork, layout, positioning, and specifications rather than provide an absolute physical color guarantee.

Customers requiring closer color verification should discuss Pantone references, material samples, physical samples, or other appropriate color-control methods before production.

10. Samples

Free samples are available upon request.

Customers are responsible for the initial sample shipping charges, which are reimbursed with the first bulk order.

Custom-printed samples are not included in the free sample policy. They are quoted separately according to material, printing, finishing, tooling, and production requirements.

Shipping charges for custom-printed samples are also reimbursed with the first bulk order.

Samples as Production References

Stock samples demonstrate relevant packaging materials, structures, printing, or finishes but may not represent the exact specifications of the customer’s final order.

A custom-printed or production-representative sample provides a stronger project reference, but reasonable production-to-production variations may still occur because of materials, printing processes, finishing, and manufacturing conditions.

Customers with critical physical, structural, or color requirements should communicate those requirements before bulk production.

11. Production Turnaround

BoxBaba’s standard production turnaround is 5–9 business days after the final artwork, proof, and required order specifications are approved.

Production time and shipping/transit time are separate.

Production schedules may be affected by:

  • Project complexity
  • Quantity
  • Materials
  • Specialty finishes
  • Sampling requirements
  • Tooling
  • Changes requested after approval
  • Other project-specific production requirements

Rush production may be available for selected projects and should be confirmed before placing a time-sensitive order.

12. Shipping and Delivery

BoxBaba provides free shipping across the USA for custom packaging orders.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

Additional reshipping costs caused by the following may be charged to the customer:

  • Incorrect addresses
  • Incomplete addresses
  • Refused shipments
  • Unclaimed shipments
  • Customer-requested address changes

Production time and carrier transit time are separate.

Delivery dates or arrival estimates are estimates unless BoxBaba specifically confirms a guaranteed date in writing for the individual order.

Carrier delays, weather, customs, transportation disruptions, government actions, or other circumstances outside BoxBaba’s reasonable control may affect delivery.

For further information, please review the Shipping Policy.

13. International Orders and Customs

Where BoxBaba agrees to ship internationally, the shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, inspection fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless specifically included in the approved quotation, those charges are the customer’s responsibility. Customers are also responsible for providing information required for import or customs clearance.

14. Production Quantity and Complimentary Extra Boxes

BoxBaba usually includes 3–10 extra boxes with an order at no additional charge. These additional units are complimentary.

The exact number of extra boxes may vary according to the production run and should not be considered a guaranteed additional quantity.

If an exact project quantity is operationally critical, customers should notify BoxBaba before approving production.

15. Damaged or Defective Products

Customers should inspect delivered products promptly.

Damage or manufacturing defects must be reported to BoxBaba within 3 days of delivery.

The customer must provide video proof clearly showing the reported damage or defect.

BoxBaba may also request:

  • Photographs
  • Packaging labels
  • Shipping cartons
  • Order information
  • Other evidence reasonably required to review the claim

Claims submitted outside the 3-day reporting period may not be eligible for review under the applicable order policy.

Where BoxBaba determines that a qualifying production defect is its responsibility, the available remedy will be handled according to the Refund & Returns Policy.

16. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Shipments

Customers should inspect delivered cartons for visible carrier damage or missing packages.

If a shipment appears damaged, incomplete, or lost in transit, customers should contact BoxBaba promptly and retain relevant evidence, including where applicable:

  • Original shipping cartons
  • Shipping labels
  • Photographs or video
  • Carrier information
  • Delivery documentation

BoxBaba will assist with the available investigation process where appropriate.

17. Cancellations, Returns, Refunds, and Reprints

Because BoxBaba products are custom-made, cancellation, refund, return, or reprint eligibility depends on the production stage and circumstances of the order.

Orders that have already entered production may not be cancellable or changeable.

The applicable cancellation, return, defect, reprint, and refund procedures are governed by BoxBaba’s Refund & Returns Policy. Customers should review that policy before approving production.

18. Changes Requested After Approval

Changes requested after final approval may require:

  • Revised artwork
  • New dielines
  • New proofs
  • Additional sampling
  • Repricing
  • Additional manufacturing
  • Additional production time

BoxBaba will advise the customer where a requested change materially affects cost or schedule.

19. Materials, Certifications, and Compliance

BoxBaba offers materials and packaging structures based on project specifications.

Unless specifically confirmed in writing for a particular order, BoxBaba does not represent that a packaging product is independently certified, laboratory-tested, FDA-approved, FDA-compliant, FSC-certified, ASTM-certified, child-resistant certified, BPA-free certified, compostable certified, or certified under another regulatory or industry standard.

BoxBaba does not currently provide third-party compliance certificates, testing reports, or material declarations unless availability is expressly confirmed in writing for the specific project.

Customers requiring certification, testing, regulatory documentation, or supporting evidence must communicate those requirements before placing an order.

20. Customer Labeling and Regulatory Responsibility

Customers remain responsible for reviewing the legal and regulatory accuracy of the content they supply for printing. This may include:

  • Ingredients
  • Product claims
  • Warnings
  • Regulatory statements
  • Nutrition information
  • Barcodes
  • QR codes
  • Market-specific information
  • Industry-specific labeling

BoxBaba provides packaging and printing according to customer-approved information and does not independently verify every regulatory claim submitted for printing.

21. Packaging Suitability and Product Information

Customers should provide accurate information about the product being packaged, including where relevant:

  • Product dimensions
  • Weight
  • Container type
  • Orientation
  • Packed quantity
  • Storage conditions
  • Distribution requirements
  • Shipping requirements

The suitability and performance of a packaging structure can depend on the complete packed product and its handling environment.

Unless specifically tested and confirmed in writing, packaging should not be assumed to have passed a particular laboratory, transportation, impact, certification, or regulatory test.

22. Third-Party Suppliers and Service Providers

BoxBaba may work with carriers, production partners, suppliers, payment providers, and other service providers in order to produce or fulfill orders.

Where necessary to fulfill a customer order, BoxBaba may provide relevant project information or files to such providers for that purpose.

23. Force Majeure and Events Outside Reasonable Control

BoxBaba will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. These circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • War or civil disruption
  • Government action
  • Customs delays
  • Carrier interruptions
  • Labor disruption
  • Power or technology outages
  • Equipment failure
  • Transportation disruption
  • Material shortages
  • Supply-chain interruptions
  • Other events outside reasonable operational control

Where such an event affects an order, BoxBaba will make reasonable efforts to communicate available information and resume performance when reasonably possible.

24. Website Information

BoxBaba works to keep the website accurate and current. However, general website information concerning materials, specifications, availability, production timing, pricing, or other project details may change.

For an individual order, the approved quotation, proof, written specifications, and other confirmed project documents govern that order.

25. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BoxBaba.com and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis.

General website information should not be treated as a project-specific guarantee unless the relevant requirement is included in the approved quotation, proof, specifications, or other written agreement for that order.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BoxBaba will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting solely from use of the website or circumstances outside BoxBaba’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

27. Indemnification

Customers are responsible for artwork, trademarks, photographs, graphics, text, designs, and other content they provide to BoxBaba.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers are responsible for claims or losses resulting from unauthorized customer-supplied content or from infringement caused by material provided by the customer.

28. Privacy

Personal information submitted to BoxBaba is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Customers should review that policy for information regarding collection, use, and handling of personal information.

29. Entire Agreement and Project-Specific Agreements

These Terms, together with the applicable BoxBaba policies and the customer’s approved quotation and project documentation, form the general agreement governing the order.

Where BoxBaba and the customer enter into a separate written agreement for a specific project, the project-specific written agreement will control to the extent that it expressly differs from these general Terms.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision should be limited or removed only to the extent required, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

31. No Waiver

If BoxBaba does not enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion, that does not automatically waive the right to enforce that provision later.

32. Updates to These Terms

BoxBaba may update these Terms & Conditions when its website, services, procedures, or business policies change.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

A later website update does not automatically change an already approved order unless BoxBaba and the customer agree otherwise.

33. Contact BoxBaba

For questions concerning these Terms & Conditions, a quotation, an existing order, shipping, samples, or another BoxBaba policy, please contact BoxBaba.
