Custom face mask pouches are flexible primary packages designed to hold folded skincare sheet masks and their serum or compatible cosmetic formulations. Unlike reusable mask-storage cases or standard paperboard cartons, the pouch directly contains the product and must be planned around the filled package rather than the artwork alone.

The finished specification may depend on the folded mask dimensions, mask thickness, serum or fill volume, total filled weight, required moisture, oxygen or light protection, filling method, final sealing process, retail or ecommerce requirements, and available artwork space.

Which Skincare Products Can These Pouches Support?

The main intended application is individual skincare sheet masks. Related treatment formats may also be considered when the product, formulation and packing process are reviewed separately.

The same pouch structure should not be assumed to suit every product. Final material compatibility and shelf-life validation remain the responsibility of the skincare brand, formulator, contract filler or qualified testing provider unless BoxBaba separately confirms a testing service.

Where Custom Sheet Mask Pouches Are Used

Retail skincare lines may require strong front-panel visibility, barcode space, consistent pouch dimensions, coordinated multi-SKU artwork and optional outer cartons.

Ecommerce and subscription projects may require additional scuff, puncture, leakage and secondary-shipping protection. The primary pouch should not be presented as a complete parcel-shipping system by itself.

PR and influencer campaigns may combine the pouch with separate presentation packaging. The PR box or carton is secondary packaging and should be quoted separately.

How to Measure a Custom Sheet Mask Pouch

Correct sizing starts with the folded product, not the unfolded face-mask dimensions. Provide the folded mask width, height and thickness, serum or fill volume, total filled weight, preferred filling side, and any verified tear-notch or hang-hole requirements.

The overall finished pouch dimensions include the sealed edges. The internal usable area is the space available inside those seals for the mask and formulation. Artwork, text and barcodes must remain clear of seals, cut lines, notches, hang holes and other production zones.

The smallest possible pouch is not automatically the best choice. Filling, product movement, seal cleanliness, headspace and production tolerance may require additional clearance. Final clearance and seal dimensions are confirmed according to the pouch size, product volume, seal configuration and the customer’s filling and sealing equipment

Flexible Film and Barrier Requirements

The material structure should be selected according to what the product needs the package to do. Review moisture, oxygen and light sensitivity, product-contact compatibility, fill conditions, intended shelf life and distribution conditions.

A clear, white, opaque, metallic, foil-based, paper-look or lower-impact structure should only be advertised when it is available and technically appropriate. A paper appearance does not prove that the complete pouch is paper based or plastic free.

Appearance should not be the only selection factor. Product protection, filling and sealing compatibility, storage, distribution, artwork and sustainability objectives must be considered together.

Seal Design and Filling Requirements

Seal performance depends on both the pouch specification and the process used to fill and close the package. Relevant factors may include the inner sealant layer, seal width, filling-side opening, temperature, pressure, dwell time, wrinkles, equipment condition, serum contamination in the seal area, insufficient headspace and handling damage.

The quotation and order documentation must identify who manufactures the empty pouch, who fills it, who performs the final seal, who tests the filled package and who validates shelf-life performance. These responsibilities are clearly defined in the quotation and approved before production.
Do not use leak-proof, guaranteed leak protection, prevents all seal failure, guaranteed shelf life or transit proof without documented testing for the exact package and process.

Custom Printing and Color Requirements

Custom printing may provide front-panel branding, product name, directions, ingredients, warnings, barcode space, batch-code space, back-panel content and multi-SKU differentiation.

The actual printing method is selected according to the pouch material, quantity and artwork requirements. CMYK and Pantone are color approaches rather than printing technologies. White ink, metallic effects, front/back coverage and multi-SKU production must also be confirmed.

Color can appear different on clear, white, metallic, matte and gloss substrates. Final artwork and proofs should reflect the approved material and production method.

Artwork, Dieline and Label-Panel Planning

The production dieline should identify the finished outline, seal areas, filling side, cut lines, bleed, safe area, front and back orientation, tear notch and hang hole. Dieline availability and timing are provided after the pouch size and structure are confirmed, with free dieline support before artwork approval and production.

Front and back panels may need space for product name, ingredients, directions, warnings, company information, barcode, batch code, disposal guidance and country-of-origin information. The buyer remains responsible for legal and regulatory approval of the final content.

Before approval, confirm the correct dieline version, dimensions, bleed, safe area, seal zones, orientation, barcode, fonts, linked images, color setup, white-ink layers, finish layers, SKU and artwork version.

What Affects the Price?

Custom pouch pricing may depend on finished dimensions, film structure, barrier requirements, thickness, pouch format, printing method, number of artwork versions, surface and functional features, quantity, sampling, destination and delivery service.

A final price cannot be calculated accurately from the product name alone. Do not publish invented starting prices, broad wholesale claims, no-setup-fee claims or any-quantity language.
